A movie filmed in North Carolina has been named the scariest horror movie of the 2010s decade so far, according to entertainment blog

“The Conjuring” took the No. 1 spot on the recent list. It came out in 2013 and was filmed in Wilmington. The movie grossed $41,855,326 on the opening weekend in the U.S.

It’s about two paranormal investigators who work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. It stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson and was directed by James Wan.
