BETTY BOOP gets HORROR VERSION
THE NIGHTMARE HAS A NEW FACE: FORGET THE FLAPPER, HERE IS THE TERRIFYING HORROR VERSION OF BETTY BOOP!
Get ready to have your childhood memories ruined, because the latest classic icon to fall into the horror vortex is none other than the famous (and notoriously sexy) Betty Boop! Following Winnie the Pooh and Bambi, another 1930s legend, now in the public domain, is being shredded and repackaged for gore enthusiasts.
And the first image that has been released? It is genuinely gruesome! A "splatter" image that announces the arrival of Boop, the film that promises to transform the sweet flapper into a vengeful, bloodthirsty creature.

The Chilling Plot and the Bloodbath
The synopsis sounds like something straight out of an A-list creepypasta: a group of investigators, hosts of a horror podcast, venture into an abandoned theater. The mission? To investigate the alleged sightings of the ghost of Boop, a former film star.
But what starts as a simple episode quickly turns into a terrifying bloodbath! The protagonists will have to fight for survival against a vengeful Betty Boop determined to get her revenge.
Directed by Jared Cohn and written by Josh Ridgway (with Devanny Pinn starring as the terrifying Betty), the project is preparing to shock the American Film Market.
A "Feminist" and Relentless Vengeance
But be warned, this isn't just splatter for its own sake: the film carries an interesting thematic twist. VMI COO, Jessica Russo, revealed that what distinguishes Boop from other horrors is her motivation. Although the story is dark, this interpretation allows Betty to "reclaim her power," defining the whole thing as "a true testament to feminism led by a predominantly female team."
In short, as promised by producer Jarrett Furst, get ready for a "wildly violent and incredibly fun journey." The days of the sweet, naive Betty Boop are over. Now, there is only Boop the Nightmare, and judging by the premise, this is only the beginning!
